I'm not sure if it is illegal to download any video from YouTube but use at your own risk. I recently found a good website to download any video from YouTube. Unlike some of the websites it either hangs or the file that you downloaded is not complete. This is really annoying!
Ok, the web site is keepvid.com and you can bookmark this page for your convenient. This webpage is reliable as compared to others website. To download the video just paste your YouTube link and click download. You will see something below:
›› Download Link ‹‹ (.flv - Flash Video)
Click on it and it will be downloaded save as a filename called get_video by default. Ok, here is a little bit troublesome if I try it save as other filename and it doesn't work. You can try it, it probably has already been fixed by the time you read t his post. So what I do normally is to download the get_video file by default and then rename it to
Here is the website again keepvid.com. Not only from YouTube it also can be used in Google Video and etc. I personally haven't try them except for YouTube.

Cool. I don't really care as long as it works for me, I will stick with it. Until one day this approach doesn't work, I will only look for other options.
As for the youtube downloader application, I'm little worry of Spyware, Virus, Trojan Horse and etc. Just for the sake of safety, I would rather use the cut & paste method download directly form the website. :)
